Svengoolie to make an appearance at Silver Cross Field this year…

(Joliet, IL) – The Joliet Slammers Professional Baseball Club is proud to partner with Me-TV to present “Memorable Mondays.”

“Memorable Mondays Presented by Me-TV” will make every Monday home game a trip down memory lane in 2012. During the Slammers’ Monday home games this season fans will get treated to lots of fun clips from popular and iconic classic TV shows.

Book your tickets now for Friday, July 6 as Svengoolie will be on hand at Silver Cross Field thanks to the Slammers’ partnership with Me-TV. The Chicago television icon will sign autographs and entertain the fans during a frightfully fun Friday night at the yard. Fans will enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed entertainment during the “Friday Fright Night” including fireworks after the game.

“We can’t wait to welcome Svengoolie to the yard,” Slammers President Bill Waliewski said. “It’s guaranteed to be a spooky good time.”

Single game tickets for the 2012 season are available now. Opening Night is Tuesday, May 22 as Joliet takes on the Traverse City Beach Bums at 7:05 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for after the game. Season tickets, flex plans and group outings are currently available by calling 815-722-2287!
